Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how MowClick LLC collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when people use the MowClick website and marketplace.
1. Information we collect
| Account information | Name, email address, role, email-verification status, policy-consent version and time, and authentication records. Passwords are stored as protected password hashes, not readable passwords. |

| Payment and verification status | Stripe identifiers, connected-account status, transaction status, amounts, refunds, disputes, and identity-verification status. Stripe collects sensitive card, bank, tax, and identity-document data directly; MowClick does not receive complete card numbers or identity-document images. |
| Technical and security information | IP-derived rate-limit records, session identifiers, browser requests, error information, and security events used to operate and protect the service. |
2. How we use information
- Create, authenticate, and support accounts.
- Match homeowners and providers and operate requests, offers, bookings, messages, photos, and optional location sharing.
- Facilitate payment authorization, capture, provider payouts, refunds, reversals, and dispute handling.
- Send account verification, password-reset, booking, payment, safety, and service notifications.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, duplicate accounts, and platform manipulation.
- Debug, secure, maintain, and improve MowClick.
- Comply with law and enforce agreements.
3. Stripe
MowClick uses Stripe for payment processing, connected-provider accounts, payouts, fraud controls, and identity verification. MowClick sends Stripe information needed to provide these functions and receives relevant identifiers and status information. Stripe processes information under its own agreements and Privacy Policy.
4. Google sign-in
If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides an account identifier, email address, email-verification status, and basic profile information needed to authenticate you. MowClick does not receive your Google password. Google sign-in is optional when email-and-password access is available.
5. When information is disclosed
We disclose information only as reasonably needed to operate the marketplace:
- Between the matched homeowner and provider, including booking details and communications needed to perform the service.
- To Stripe and other infrastructure, email, hosting, security, or support providers acting for MowClick.
- When required by law, legal process, safety needs, fraud prevention, or protection of rights.
- In a business transaction such as a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.
MowClick does not sell personal information for money or use sensitive identity documents for advertising.
6. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain transaction and consent records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, satisfy accounting and legal obligations, and enforce agreements. Sessions, verification tokens, rate-limit records, OAuth state, and active location records have operational expirations. Some booking, payment, message, photo, and account records may be retained longer when necessary for the purposes above.
7. Security
MowClick uses measures designed to protect information, including HTTPS, restricted infrastructure access, hashed passwords, expiring tokens and sessions, request validation, rate limiting, payment-webhook signature verification, database backups, and access controls. No system can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and requests
You may choose not to share optional live location and may stop sharing through the booking screen. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account information by emailing support@mowclick.com. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information required for active bookings, payments, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or legitimate recordkeeping.
9. Cookies and similar storage
MowClick uses an HTTP-only session cookie required to keep you signed in and temporary browser storage needed for interface state. The current launch service does not rely on third-party advertising cookies.
10. Children's privacy
MowClick is not directed to children under 13, and marketplace accounts are limited to adults. Contact us if you believe a child provided personal information.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy as the service or law changes. Material changes will use a new policy version and may require renewed consent. Privacy questions and requests: support@mowclick.com.
